SOMEONE YOU SHOULD KNOW

Piper Piper Relationship coach and inspirational speaker Cheryl Piper will be making her first visit to Buffalo next week to share her message of self-love, self-care, and forgiveness with Western New York.

Piper will be on hand at the Audubon Library, 350 John James Audubon Pkwy, Amherst, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, for “The Journey To Forgiveness” workshop as part of The Audubon Library’s Holistic Lecture Series. This event is free to the public as she will talk about challenges in her life, how she overcame those challenges, and provide answers on how to move forward.

“I always tell everyone that I’m a relationship coach,” Piper said. “I talk a lot about forgiveness in these workshops and how it’s often very difficult to let go of your anger, bitterness and pain. This workshop is designed to help people move forward from whatever problems might be going on in their lives.”

For Piper, her life-changing moment came about 10 years ago when she was living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her son had just turned 16 at the time when her husband decided to leave her. Piper was working in sales at the time, and that’s when she decided to focus on her job. However, her company downsized, which caused her to relocate. She describes how at the time, she had a choice to make and how that choice changed the rest of her life.

“I could have walked down the path of the victim because when something devastating happens, we get to choose which path to take,” Piper said. “That decision is within all of us, and it’s important to know that all things are possible.”

Piper now lives just outside of Baltimore and is a Conversational Intelligence Practitioner, Certified Assertiveness Coach, Adjunct Professor in mediation and Certified Integrative Wellness and Life Coach.

“Men and women deal with challenges all of the time, such as divorce, losing a job and heartbreak, so I help them by discovering those issues and finding a way to overcome them,” Piper said. “We have everything inside us to find happiness, and once we can learn about self-love, then we all have an abundance of happiness to give to the world.”

Piper travels all throughout the country to share her message. She will be speaking at the Santosha Holistic Center, 22 Lafayette Blvd., Amherst, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday Oct. 19. Tickets for that event are $29 presale, and limited tickets will also be available at the door for $33.
