BNAC Sponsors Environment Poster Contest — The Burchfield Nature and Art Center is sponsoring a poster contest for school students to encourage saving pollinators — bees and butterflies. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade who like to use their artistic abilities, will have an opportunity to exhibit their work, compete for an award, and provide a service to the community. The posters, “Save the Pollinators — Bees and Butterflies” will encourage actions to help save the diminishing population of these much-needed insects. Entry forms and contest rules are available at burchfieldnac.org. The first entries will be accepted Sunday, April 22. For more information, call 677-4843.
