Daemen College lecture series to continue March 21

Billoni Billoni Anthony Billoni, director of Tobacco-Free Western New York and a source on creativity and leadership change, will be the guest speaker at Daemen College’s Nancy Haberman Gacioch Entrepreneurship Lecture Series event scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the Wick Campus Center Alumni Lounge.

The college is located at 4380 Main St., Amherst, near Harlem Road.

Billoni will discuss the Tobacco Free Western New York’s advocacy and marketing efforts to decrease tobacco use in adults and prevention programs targeted to youth. He will also talk about the organization’s engagement with community leaders and youth to change policies about tobacco use in counties throughout WNY.

In addition to his director role, Billoni is a consultant in creativity and leadership change and teaches at the Creative Problem Solving Institute.

As a coach and mentor, he has worked with a number of organizations in the nonprofit community, including How to Have Fun Productions, Art on Wheels, and the Creative Education Foundation. Additionally, Billoni is also a founding member and past president of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Rotary Club.
