The following events are open to members of the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway. Call 636-3055, ext. 3108 to register.

Silver Pride Tea Time will take place at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21. There will be a social hour for lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual seniors ages 50 and older and their supporters. A brief presentation on an LGBT topic will be held, and coffee, tea and cookies will be served.

A meditation session will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. There are only 20 spots available, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact Angela at 636-3055, ext. 3129, or Marlene at 636-3055, ext. 3166, to sign up.

Lunch and a game will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 22. Participants will be served pizza and salad from John and Mary’s and will play a game of Taboo. The fee is $6. RSVP by Tuesday, Feb. 20.

“You’ve Got Something to Say, So Say It!” will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26. Participants can share their thoughts and simply talk freely among their peers. What is discussed in the group will stay in the group.

A copy cat dinner will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26. Members will be making Panera soup, Red Lobster rolls and Friendly’s peanut butter sundae. The fee is $12, and participants are asked to bring Tupperware. Make a paid reservation at the I&A desk four days in advance.

Coffee and conversation will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27.

A health seminar about vitamin D will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Wednesday, Feb. 21 — Turkey a la king, mashed potatoes, peas, a biscuit and pineapple tidbits.

Thursday, Feb. 22 — Sloppy Joe on a roll, baked potato, sliced yellow squash and a banana.

Friday, Feb. 23 — Tilapia, carrots, broccoli, rice pilaf and diced peaches.

Monday, Feb. 26 — Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, corn, a roll and diced pears.

Tuesday, Feb. 27 — Pork chop with gravy, sweet potato, red cabbage, muffin and peach crisp.
