Supervisor’s appointment unnecessary

Let me get this straight: Brian Kulpa ran for office claiming that he would be a full-time supervisor, but his very first act is to create a new patronage chief of staff position to manage town government?

Managing town government is what the supervisor is supposed to be doing. What else is there for Brian Kulpa to do?

Not only that, but he fills the position with his campaign manager, who lives in Black Rock, and pays him more than $80,000 a year.

If this was his plan all along, maybe he should have been honest during the campaign instead of deceiving Amherst voters.

Now we have to pay for two supervisors and this town definitely does not need any more politicians.
