Williamsville schools to hold reunion

The classes of 1977 at Williamsville East and North high schools are holding a combined 40-year reunion from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15. Alumni will meet at the Old Home Days beer tent and at The Irishman Pub and Eatery, 5601 Main St., from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. Alums will meet at Buffalo RiverWorks, 359 Ganson St., from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, where there will be an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, various dinner stations and dessert. The cost is $75 per person. Medicare presentation slated for July 17

A presentation titled “Navigating through Medicare: Understanding the Requirements and Coverages Available,” will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, at the Amherst Public Library, 350 John James Audubon Parkway. Licensed NYS insurance agents James Gembarosky, Katelynn Chamberlain and Bryan Roth will present and answer questions.

Church schedules carillon concert

The 39th annual Summer Carillon Concert will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St., Williamsville. Following a performance on WNY’s only authentic hand-played carillon, the Celtic Spirit Pipe Band will perform at 8 p.m. Refreshments will be available, and it is recommended that attendees bring a lawn chair. Amberleigh to host artisan, craft show

The Amberleigh will host an artisan, craft and merchant show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at the community, 2330 Maple Road. More than 30 booths will offer a variety of arts, crafts and merchandise. The event will be held at the main entrance. A basket raffle will also be held with more than 50 gift baskets. A portion of those proceeds will go to the Kidney Foundation of WNY to assist patients awaiting a kidney transplant with hospital and transplant costs. Admission is free.
