John F. Troglauer Jr., football all-star, wrestling champion

Troglauer Troglauer John Frederick Troglauer Jr., 72, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Williamsville, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

Mr. Troglauer was born April 2, 1945, in Buffalo. A three-time all-star running back and High School All-American football player at Williamsville High School, he also played football for the Lackawanna Lancers for several years. In addition, he was a three-time heavyweight state champion wrestler. He went on to play college football at the University of Nebraska.

He worked as a social services administrator serving delinquent youth in Florida.

Mr. Troglauer is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lou (nee Mc- Donald); one child, Lisa Dolan; four siblings,

Gary, Daniel, Michael, and Barbara Adams; and three grandchildren. He was preceded by one sibling, Richard.

A funeral service was held July 8 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Thy Word Network, 4463 County Road, 1200 S, Haubstadt, IN 47639.
