Asbury Pointe offers AARP driving course

Asbury Pointe Retirement Community will host a two-day, six-hour driver course through AARP on Thursday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 8. The course, designed for drivers 50 years and older, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in Asbury’s theatre room, 50 Stahl Road, Getzville. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers. Amherst Bel Canto camp seeks musicians

The Amherst Bel Canto Choir will host a summer music camp for students entering grades three through seven, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Aug. 18 through 23.
