Amberleigh presents summer concert series

The local group “Boys of Summer” will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Amberleigh Retirement Community, 2330 Maple Road, Williamsville. The free concert will take place rain or shine, and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 689-4195.

Alumni foundation sets Golf Classic

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation will host its 13th annual Golf Classic on Thursday, July 10, at Glen Oak Golf Course, 711 Smith Road, East Amherst. Kevin K Band to perform at The Forvm

The Kevin K Band will join Dirty Smile to perform a rock show on Wednesday, July 9, at The Forvm, 4224 Maple Road, Amherst. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and live music will begin at 8 p.m. The show, which benefits military veterans, will donate a portion of the admission costs to Habitat for Humanity Buffalo’s Veterans Build Program. Summer concert series planned at park

A concert featuring a jazz performance by Bobby Militello will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Bassett Park, 359 Klein Road, Williamsville. The concert is sponsored by Anthony Baldi and Associates. Also, the band “2nd Time Around” will perform rock and roll and oldies at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Bassett Park.

St. Mary’s annual picnic, Chowder Chase set

St. Mary’s Parish in Swormville will hold its picnic from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the parish, 6919 Transit Road, Swormville.
