Presentation on healing to be held at library

A lecture and video presentation on health and healing is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Audubon Library, 350 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst.

The presentation will be offered by Vivian Mauro, who will discuss her own healing story and her rescued dog’s miraculous healing from cancer.

Mauro will detail her visit to Casa de Dom Inácio, a healing sanctuary in Brazil. She will explain how many people, such as herself, traveled to the destination each year to find a cure for an illness.

Mauro is a freelance photographer, certified teacher, health support coach and professional tour guide who has traveled extensively around the world. She is currently forming a group trip to Brazil scheduled for later this year.

People interested in attending should make a reservation by calling 689-4922. There is no cost to attend the program.
