Barbara S. Arnold, a certified public accountant, has been named a partner of Semanchin and Wetter LLP, an accounting firm at 6245 Sheridan Drive, Suite 102. Arnold was previously a manager with the firm and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Rising Sun Yoga Center, 5225 Sheridan Drive at Evans Street, Amherst, will host “Chinese New Year: Annual Energy Changes,” from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21.
