Caregiver, support groups offered by Elderwood Village

The Men’s Caregiver Group, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, in the private dining room at ElderWood Village at Glenwood, 5271 Main St., Williamsville.

The group meets the first Wednesday and third Tuesday of every month and provides support, networking and camaraderie for men with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

In another matter, ElderWood Health Care at Wedgewood, 4459 Bailey Ave., Eggertsville, will host its Alzheimer’s Support Group on third Tuesday of each month.

The meetings are open to all members of the community who have a family member affected by Alzheimer’s, are caring for someone with the disease or whose lives are otherwise touched by a person with memory impairment.
