Couple honeymoon on Hawaiian islands

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Haller Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Haller Lindsay Alexandra Sykes married Joseph Cross Haller during an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at SS. Peter & Paul Church in Williamsville. The Rev. Richard Reina officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Paulette and Maurice Sykes of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Barbara Haller of Hamburg and the late Carl A. K. Haller Jr.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory silk gazar gown custom-designed by Demetrios. It had a sweetheart neckline, Swarovski crystals and a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of pale pink peonies, ivory hydrangea, stephanotis and orchids.

The maid of honor was Amanda Owczarczak, cousin of the bride.

The bridesmaids were Lisa Hund, cousin of the bride; Lisa Conomos, Gretchen Craig, Heide Jauch and Stephanie Corriveau, sisters of the groom; and Kelly Gruber and Emily Skinner, friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Mae Jauch, niece of the groom.

The best man was Vincent Tiberia, friend of the groom.

The ushers were C.A. Kurt Haller III, brother of the groom; Dr. Jeremy Sykes, brother of the bride; and James Banko, Douglas Gorecki, Michael Kish, Dr. Jeffrey Parker and Daniel Twentyfive, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Kyle Hund, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Samuel’s Grande Manor in Clarence. The couple honeymooned on the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Kauai and Maui and are now at home in Williamsville.
