Sweet Home boys bowling rebounds

Sweet Home’s boys bowling team bounced back from a 5-2 defeat to West Seneca East Dec. 15 with a 6-1 win over Cheektowaga last Wednesday. Both matches were held at Manor II Lanes.

Sweet Home’s T.J. Serba set a new school high series for the season with a 679 against Cheektowaga.

Serba led the “B” team with games of 212, 225 and 242. Captain Chris Loius was not far behind, leading the “A” team with a 665 set. Louis had games of 200, 223 and 242.

Other good scores were rolled by Ryan Clark (202, 212), Jason Huebert (212) and newcomer Brian Herring (217).

The match against West Seneca East was tied after two games, but Sweet Home lost both games on “A” and “B” to lose the match.

High for Sweet Home was Louis with a 630 set. Louis had games of 208, 226 and 196.

Huebert rolled a 619 with games of 224, 191 and 204. Richard Rost shot 247-607 and Cody Johnson bowled 222-604.

Other high games were rolled by Damian Annas (235, 200), Serba (200, 212) and Alex Noltee (216).

Sweet Home beat Amherst, 5-2, Monday at Airport Lanes.
