Veterans’ meals on the house at Applebee’s

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants across the Western New York area are thanking U.S. veterans and active duty military for their service to the country this Veterans Day.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, current and former servicemen and servicewomen are invited to dine in and eat free of charge during lunch and dinner service.

The Western New York area has more than 120,000 veterans and active duty military.

On Veterans Day only, veterans and those on active duty with proof of U.S. military service can choose one free entrée from the following options: 7-ounce house sirloin, three-cheese chicken penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken , fire pit bacon burger, chicken tenders platter, and Oriental chicken salad.

All Applebee’s restaurants throughout WNY will participate. The Amherst locations are, 1641 Niagara Falls Blvd., near the Lowe’s plaza, Amherst; and 5017 Transit Road, near the Wal-Mart plaza, Clarence.
