Men's Caregiver Group meeting planned

The Men's Caregiver Group, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, in the private dining room at Elder- Wood Village at Glenwood, 5271 Main St. Call Don at 937-7522.

Amherst Lions Club to change meeting place

The Amherst Lions Club will change its meeting place, effective July 1, to The Gallery Grill, 175 Brompton Road, in the Paddock Golf Dome in Tonawanda.

Fibromyalgia Support Group to meet July 2

The Fibromyalgia Support Group meets from noon to 1:30 p.m. the first Thursday of every month at the Amherst Main Library at Audubon, study group room, 350 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst. Summer concerts announced at ElderWood

Neighbors are welcome to join residents, families and staff at ElderWood Health Care at Healthwood for the summer concert series. Concerts will be held at 7 p.m. every Wednesday through the end of August at 815 Hopkins Road. Vintage White will perform on July 1. Nandor will play on July 8.

Parachute Group slates session

Saturday's Farmers Market to be held

At this weekend's Farmers Market, musical guest City Fiddle will perform from 10 a.m. to noon. The children's event will be conducted by Audubon Daycare from 10 a.m to noon. The Farmers Market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through Oct. 31 in front of the mill, at 56 E. Spring St.

Recovery International support group planned

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church hosts Recovery International meetings from 1 to 3 p.m. every Saturday for those who struggle with anger, panic, anxiety, depression, obsessions, compulsions or phobias. The church is located at 4007 Main St. in Eggertsville. Call 826-0969.

July Fourth live entertainment slated

The Billy McEwen Band and Erie County Wind Ensemble will play live music at the University at Buffalo North Campus, from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4.

Amherst Youth Hockey hot dog sale set

The Amherst Youth Hockey Pee Wee AA hot dog sale will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, in front of the Eagle House on Main Street during the first night of Old Home Days. Funds support youth hockey. In case of rain, the sale will be rescheduled to July 9.

Amherst recreation concert series to begin

The American Legion Band of the Tonawandas concert band will play live music at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Bassett Park, at Klein and Youngs roads.

Clare Bridge to host farm animal petting zoo

Clare Bridge, an assisted living community for individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, is hosting its second annual farm animal petting zoo from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at 6076 Main St. RSVP to Diane at 632-7123 by Tuesday, July 7.
