The Buffalo Chapter of the Pajama Program is seeking volunteers to assist with various events and chapter positions. The organization provides new pajamas and books to children and is currently supporting six organizations, including Compass House, Cornerstone Manor, Gerard Place, Harvest House, Haven House and Salvation Army. Gabrielle Jehle, daughter of Dr. Dietrich and Theresa Jehle of Williamsville, has been accepted into the Chautauqua Summer School of Fine and Performing Arts at Chautauqua Institution where she will be studying ballet. She is a sophomore at Nardin Academy.

Nacel Open Door, an international student exchange program, is looking for families to host students from France for three weeks this summer. There will be 24 students arriving in July, and 24 students arriving in August. Both sessions are immersion programs, meaning there will be no classes or scheduled activities; the students simply spend time with the host family and enjoy three weeks of summer while being exposed to the United States culture.
