letters to home

Curator of Education, Jeff Neff, will lecture on soldier's letters home to their families at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 16 at the Amherst Museum, 3755 Creek Road. Admission is $3, and members are free.

Erie Community College will offer a New York State point/insurance reduction course from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the North Campus, 6205 Main St., near Youngs Road, in Room B-411 of the Bretschger Technical Center. The fee is $35.

Playhouse comedy night

Arthritis Foundation

offers exercise classes

New classes are forming for the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program. Classes are at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 17, 22 and 24, at Slim and Tone, 55 CrossPoint Parkway near the corner of North French Road and Millersport Highway. Classes are one hour long. Classes are $3 each. Call 636-5300 to register.
