The following events are open to members of the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway. Call 636-3055, ext. 3108 to register.

A hot dog sale will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8. Hot dogs cost $1.

A walk around the pond will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13.

A coffee break will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the TV lounge.

Silver Pride Tea Time will take place at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. There will be a social hour for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors ages 50 and older and their supporters. A brief presentation on an LGBT topic will be held, and coffee, tea and cookies will be served.

Pizza and game night will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. The night will begin with pizza and salad from Besta Pizzeria followed by a game of Buzzword. The fee is $5. Make a paid reservation in cash by Monday, Nov. 13.

A “deliciously deceptive” cooking class will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16. Members will be making chocolate turtle apple slices. The fee is $3. Make a paid reservation by Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Happy Hour will be held at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, on the patio. There will be drinks and snacks. There is no fee. Make a reservation at 636-3055, ext. 3108, by Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Wednesday, Nov. 8 — Manicotti and meatballs, peas, carrots and ice cream.

Thursday, Nov. 9 — Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans and cake.

Friday, Nov. 10 — Closed for Veteran’s Day.

Monday, Nov. 13 — Hot dog on a bun, baked beans, mixed vegetables, potato salad and tropical fruit.

Tuesday, Nov. 14 — Turkey tetrazzini, mashed potatoes, corn muffin and an orange.
