Schools to hold combined reunion events in July

The Williamsville East and North high school classes of 1977 are holding a combined 40-year reunion on Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15.

The following events have been slated by the class committees.

From 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 14, there will be three locations for meeting and greeting alumni, including Santora’s Pizza, Pub and Grill, 7800 Transit Road; Old Home Days beer tent; and The Irishman Pub and Eatery, 5601 Main St.

There is no cost to attend any of the meet-and-greet locations.

However, drinks and food are paid by each attendee to the respective establishment.

In keeping with a summertime, casual theme, the reunion moves to the Buffalo Waterfront from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Buffalo RiverWorks, 359 Ganson St.

The evening costs $75 per person and includes three hours of open bar, hors d’oeuvres, various dinner stations and dessert.

To take part in the events, make a reservation by Thursday, June 1, by visiting the reunion website, www.wewnhs1977.com.
