Sister Margaret Anthony Domin, longtime educator
Sister Margaret attended the Griffith Institute in Springville, New York, before attending Medaille College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She went on to earn her master’s degree in education from the University at Buffalo.
Sister Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist in Boston, New York. She then entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Third Order Regular of Buffalo in 1952.
She served as a teacher in several elementary schools in the Diocese of Buffalo for 37 years. Her last active ministry was at Holy Family Home in Williamsville, where she served as pastoral care minister and coordinator of services related to the residents.
Sister Margaret is survived by three siblings, Helen, Walter and Catherine. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary, John, Felix and Anthony.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 10 at St. Mary of the Angels Chapel. Arrangements were made by the Amigone Funeral Home Inc.
