Weinberg Campus debuts theater to community
      The Weinberg Campus, 2700 N. Forest Road, Getzville, opened the Mitch Simon Movie Theater last week for residents of the facility. A grand opening ceremony was held Friday, when residents and their family members were invited to attend a reception that featured a tour of the theater and movie screening.

Kids on the Block program teaches youth to assist peers

      Third-grade students at Hoover Elementary met a couple of unique characters during a presentation held at the school on Friday. Renaldo Rodriguez was one of those characters willing to share his story with students. An 11-year-old boy who attends his neighborhood school, Woodburn Elementary, Renaldo is blind — a result of his premature birth.
