Greater Buffalo Gymnastics’ Level 5 place second

Mikayla Shute finishes her floor routine at the Candy Cane Classic Meet. Mikayla Shute finishes her floor routine at the Candy Cane Classic Meet. Greater Buffalo Gymnastics and Fitness Center’s Level 5 girls team took second place at the Candy Cane Classic held at Brockport State College. Each girl on the team contributed to earn the second place honors.

In the 11-year-old age division, Sophia Belliveau placed third on bars, second on floor exercise and fourth all-around. Sydney Smith placed third on vault, sixth on bars, fourth on beam and third all-around.

In the 10-year-old division, Mikayla Shute had an outstanding meet. She won all-around and beam, second on floor, and fourth on vault.

Caila Wagar won vault, took fourth on bars, and fifth all around. Samantha Robins placed fifth on floor and sixth on vault and beam.

In the 7-9 age division, Madison Penetrante placed second in all-around, first on beam, third on bars, fifth on vault and eighth on floor. Nicole Ross won on vault with an 8.8.
