Couple of 50 years receive special blessing

Betty and Paul Fiegl of Clarence celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass and special blessing at St. Mary's Church in Lockport followed by a brunch at the Tuscarora Inn. A surprise dinner hosted by the family was previously held at Danny Sheehan's Steak House in Lockport.
Paul Fiegl married the former Betty Williams on Aug. 9, 1958, at St. Mary's Church.
Paul is a retired foreman of the Town of Clarence Highway Department and Betty is a retired secretary for the Town of Clarence Supervisor's Office.
The couple have four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
