Caribbean honeymoon awaits newlyweds

Danielle Giroux married Steven Herberger in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. Bernadette Church in Orchard Park. The Rev. Paul Seil and the Rev. Edward Herberger, great uncle of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Paula and Donald Giroux of Blasdell. The groom is the son of Christine and Tim Herberger of Clarence.
The bride was escorted by both her parents.
She wore a Paloma Blanca ivory strapless, A-line, silk gown with a draped bodice featuring Alencon lace appliques and accented by pearl and topaz crystal beading. The skirt was asymmetrically draped to the side with buttons stretching down the back to the hemline, and the fingertip length veil was accented by crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white lisianthus, green cymbidium orchids and green hypericum berries, held together by an ivory silk ribbon with pearls.
The matron of honor was Nicole Huber, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Vanessa Winter, friend of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Hart and Tara O'Neil, friends of the bride.
The flower girls were Julia and Alyssa Giroux, daughters of the bride, and Eliana Herberger, daughter of the bride and groom.
The best man was Jeffrey Haskell, friend of the bride and groom.
The ushers were Eric Huber, brother-in-law of the bride, and Thomas Fleming and Andy Holman, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Zachary Huber, nephew of the bride. A reception was held at Romanello's South Restaurant in Hamburg. The couple will honeymoon in the Caribbean next year.
