Kandice Johnson and Greg Porter

Emily Jo and Patrick Johnson of Seminole, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kandice Johnson, to Greg Porter, son of Patrice and Jim Porter, both of Williamsville.

Miss Johnson is a graduate of Osceola High School and received bachelors's and master's degrees in public health from the University of Florida and a doctorate in health behavior from Indiana University. She is a college professor.

Her fiance is a graduate of Williamsville South High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Buffalo State College. He is a sales manager for a marine electronics company.

A September 2008 wedding is planned.
