Truth lies in the facts of the contract

The editorial staff at the Bee should, and could, end the dispute on the Town Board relative to the police contract.

They should elaborate and publish the specifics of the contract. Such as: all the benefits pensions, insurance, sick time (both used and unused), take home cars, etc.

This should include the duration and what the officers pay for these benefits.

Thus all the taxpayers (employees) could compare their own costs and benefits to that of the police department (employees).
