Old Home Days fun

Food, rides and family fun will be enjoyed when Old Home Days is held Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11 at Island Park, behind Amherst & Village Hall, 5565 Main St., Village of W illiamsville.

A parade kicks off the event at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8 and takes place on Main Street in W illiamsville.

This year also will see the return of the Fishing Derby, which was canceled last year due to debris from the October storm. The derby will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 12.

Music at Old Home Days includes:

• Tuesday: Harvey and the Hurricanes at 7 p.m. under the tent, and W.A.K.O.S. at 8 p.m. at the bandshell.

• Wednesday: The Speedy Parker Blues Band at 7 p.m. under the tent.

• Thursday: Alive & Kicking at 7:30 p.m. at the bandshell, and Hit N Run at 7 p.m. under the tent.

• Friday: The Roadrunners at 8 p.m. at the bandshell, and Route 66 at 7 p.m. under the tent.
