Michael P. Lysiak and Jennifer L. Sikora

Denise J. and Thomas E. Sikora of Alden announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lee Sikora, to Michael Paul Lysiak, son of Marilyn Rosinski of Buffalo and Greg Lysiak of Greenville, S.C.

Miss Sikora graduated from Alden High School in 2000. She received an Associate of Science degree from Erie Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Buffalo State College. She is an assistant copy editor and reporter at The Bee Group Newspapers.

Her fiance graduated from Cheektowaga Central High School in 1995. He will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Medaille College in 2009. He works for Shield Security as a technician and is a member of Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for business, management and administration.

A Halloween 2008 wedding is planned at St. John Gualbert Church in Cheektowaga.
