Central Amherst 'AAA' Marlins defeat Red Sox

The Central Amherst "AAA" Marlins came back from a 4-2 deficit in the third inning to win their fourth game this year, beating the Red Sox, 13-4.

Noah Reinhart led the Marlin hitters, going 3 for 3 and scoring two runs.

Claire Wanzer, Jordan Nwora, Adam Merkle and Anthony Maisano combined for four runs.

Connor Lasron, Liam Comerford, Michael Tenney and Joe Montalbano added three runs and a base hit.

Sean Gibson, Joe Sobol and Matthew Boccio added four runs and five hits.

The Marlins played tough defense, logging ten outs in the field and eight strikeouts from Boccio, Sobol, Montalbano and Tenney.

'A' baseball

Cardinals 14, Mets 5

The Cardinals' Cole Hedden, Ryan Stark and Cameron Stark combined to hit 9 for 9 with eight runs.

Leadoff hitter Caden Menegaux and Zach Stabler added two hits a piece.

Defensively, the Cardinals recorded seven putouts in the field highlighted by Hedden's catch and throw of a hard grounder from shortstop to first base for the out.

Jacob Bugiera and Alanna Blenman each made great plays solidifying the Cardinals' defense.

Cameron Stark and Ryan Stark made putouts at first base.
