Baudanza's game-winning double lifts Lou Gehrig Major 'A' Yankees to victory

The Yankees were down to their last out with two runners on base when Sam Baudanza hit a game-winning two-run double for an 11-10 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Baudanza also pitched the last two innings, holding the Diamondbacks scoreless.

On offense, the Yankees' Karl Reardon (three-run home run, triple, single) and Tom Garrity (double, two singles) went 3 for 4 and scored three runs each.

For the Diamondbacks, Brian Halpern (two singles, walk) went 2 for 2, scored two runs and pitched a 1-2-3 fifth, while PJ Quinn (double, two singles) went 3 for 4, scored two runs, and had three RBIs.

Yankees 13, Orioles 2

The Yankees' George Schlink struck out two while pitching a 1-2-3 third inning, caught a pop-up while playing third and hit an RBI double, then scored after stealing third and home.

The Yankees' Tom Garrity (double, two singles, two runs, three RBIs) and Karl Reardon (triple, two singles, three runs, two RBI) each hit 3 for 3, Bobby Stricko (two singles, walk, two runs, two RBI) went 2 for 2 and Billy Christ (two singles, two runs) batted 2 for 3.

The Orioles' Zak Morrison struck out the side in the first. Paul McLean (two singles, run) hit 2 for 2.
