Buffalo In-Line Hockey Group's regular season ends

Buffalo In-line Hockey Group winter season concluded last Saturday and playoff match-ups were set.

Major division

Blackhawks 8, Snipers 5

The Hawks won the regular season championship with this win as six different players scored.

Warriors 10, Mulecats 6

Pat Smith (Amherst) with a hat trick and four assists for the Wariiors. Calvin Waley (Cheektowaga) recorded a hat trick for the Mulecats.

Reds 13, Firestorm 10

This high scoring game saw Brad Owens (Tonawanda) score seven times for the Reds only to be countered by Taylor Setlock (Tonawanda), who also had seven tallies.

Stealth 8, Pandas 4

Nick Durante (Tonawanda) and Josh Grant (Kenmore) led the Stealth attack. Joe Wolf (Amherst) led the Stealth defense.

Vikings 5, Crush 3 Facing a 3-1 deficit going into the third period, the Vikings scored four unanswered goals led by David Campuzano's hat trick.

Junior division

Orangemen 7, Capitals 6

The Orange got a shootout goal from co-player of the week Joey DiMinusco to clinch first place in juniors.

Sharks 7, Penguins 1

Jeff Teragnolli came into this game with nine goals but scored six to lead the Sharks and earn co-player of the week honors.

Gladiators 6, Maroons 4 Nick Antoniadis continued his strong play with a hat trick and two assists for the Gladiators.

Knights 8, Devils 7

The Knights got the game winner from Josh Rankin (Williamsville) and rode Kevin Krawczyck's hat trick to victory.

Playoffs start next week. The schedule can be found at the league Web site, www.BIHG.org. The junior division all-star game is 4 p.m. on May 17.
