Pair celebrates 50th anniversar y

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nowak

Mary and Robert Nowak of Kenmore will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Bison City Rod and Gun Club, Buffalo. The couple will also take a trip to Foxwood Resort Casino in Ledyard, Conn.

Robert Nowak married the former Mary McCarthy on May 17, 1958, at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, Blasdell.

Robert is retired from Alps Steel, and Mary is a homemaker.

The couple have two children, and one deceased, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
