Dan Lutman and Stacey Mackowiak

Linda and James Mackowiak of Cheektowaga announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Mackowiak, to Dan Lutman, son of Karen and Dan Lutman of Buffalo.

Miss Mackowiak graduated from West Seneca East Senior High School in 2000. She received a bachelor's degree in family and consumer science education from Oneonta State College in 2004. She is a family and consumer science teacher and a member of the New York State Association of Family and Consumer Science Educators.

Her fiance graduated from St, Francis High School in 1997. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting and psychology from St. John Fisher College in 2001. He is a social welfare examiner.

An August 2009 wedding is planned.
