contemporary musicians as one of the 20th
century's most prominent guitarists, will be

reputation for elaborate and well-thought
out live shows, BSP won the 2004 Time
Out London Live Band of the Year award.
The stage is often decorated with foliage
and plastic birds and sets generally finish
with a semi-improvised song called "Rock
in A," which sometimes lasts more than 20
minutes. See them perform with special

a drum set littered with gas cans, chains
and broken cymbals. Then they all start
howling, stomping; it's an anachronistic jug
band party in a junkyard with sing-along
hooks and weathered vocals from another
