Watts Architecture & Engineering, P.C., located in Amherst, received the Platinum Award for Engineering Excellence by the American Council of Engineering Company of New York. The honor was received for Watts' design of NYS Route 20A over the Tonawanda Creek Tributary in Varysburg.

David S. Bowman has been awarded the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance's 2008 National LTCI Sales Achievement Award, recognizing him as a national leader in long-term care insurance specialists. He is employed by Long Term Advisors in the Village of Williamsville.
