Mother's Day Craft Show

at Eastern Hills Mall

A Mother's Day Craft Show will be held through May 10, at Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Road, near Main Street. More than 30 Western New York crafters will have work on display. The show will be in the main concourse, during mall hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Caregiver group for men

to meet May 7

The Men's Caregiver Group, sponsored by the WNY Alzheimer's Association, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the private dining room at ElderWood Village at Glenwood, 5271 Main St., near Union Road, Williamsville. The group meets the first Wednesday and third Tuesday of every month and provides support for men with loved ones suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Horseshoe club

to begin season

The Getzville Crow's Nest Horseshoe Club will register new members at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Crow's Nest Restaurant, corner of Campbell Boulevard and Dodge Road. The Center for Inquiry's Friends of the Center Book Club has chosen "Galatea 2.2" by Richard Powers as the next selection. Rummage, book sale

at Park School

The annual Park School rummage and used book sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 10, at the school, 4625 Harlem Road, Snyder. Gently used books for children and adults, videos and CDs will be for sale. A rummage sale will run at the same time. A Chiavetta's barbecue will be held 3-7 p.m. Friday. English Speaking Union

to hold meeting

English Speaking Union of the United States Niagara Frontier Branch/Buffalo will hold its annual meeting and luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Solé Restaurant, 5110 Main St., in the Walker Plaza. There will be Shakespeare performances of monologues and sonnets by high school students. The branch will discuss the formation of a detective novel club discussion group. Grief support group

begins May 13

A six-week grief support group, "After the Long Goodbye," is for people who have lost a loved one to Alzheimer's Disease or a related disorder. This group will focus on the changes that individuals experience after death. The sessions will run every Tuesday, May 13 through June 17, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Alzheimer's Association, WNY Chapter located at 2805 Wehrle Drive. Preregistration is required. St. Benedicts Seniors
