Mel Ott 'AA' Red Sox edge Nationals The Mel Ott "AA" Red Sox held off the Nationals, 7-6. Red Sox pitchers Justin Watson and Jacob Reger held the Nationals to six runs. Reger and Joe Pandolfiplayed well with each catching for two innings. Francis Boeck, Justin Boucher and Grey Lock all played well on defense in the infield and outfield. Offensively, CJ Falk and Jake Simmons each had a single and scored twice. Will Gaulin hit two singles and scored once. Joseph Pandolfismacked one double and Justin (JT) Watson had two doubles. Brandon Miller, Evan Dipasquale, Lock and Boeck all reached base on balls. ' A' Red Sox 5, Rays 5 Ben Zenosky led the way for the Red Sox with three hits. Cooper Heck, Josh Bystrak, Louis Chiavetta and Luke Pappagallo each had two hits for the Red Sox, who scored all five of their runs in the fourth inning. Jordan Chatelle had a great defensive game, including a double play. |
