The Williamsville North boys opened the season with an 86-55 loss to Clarence last Wednesday at Clarence.
Sean Felton was a triple winner, taking first in the long jump, triple jump and 200 dash. Felton also took home second in the 100.
Steve Oehler won the 110 hurdles and 400 intermediate hurdles. Colin Preston placed first in the 100 dash and third in the triple jump. James Gaines won the high jump.
The 4x100 relay of Sinclair Johnson, Gaines, Evan Hughes and Colin Preston took home first.
Geoff Hurley placed third in the 800 and 1600.
The boys took ninth with 30 points at the Kenmore Track Invitational on Saturday at Crosby Field. Combined with the girls team, North placed second overall with 110 points.
The Spartans were strong in the field events. Felton won the long jump with a leap of 20-08. He took second in the triple jump at 41-5.25. Brian Corretore took sixth in the discus throw at 107-8.
In the pole vault, Kyle Siskar came in third in 11-6 and Tom Calandra went 10-6 for sixth.
Oehler placed fourth in the 110 high hurdles.
Hurley placed fifth in the 1600 in a time of 4:49.03.
