MAKING FRIENDS - SS. Peter and Paul Assistant Principal Joanna Mehnert will deliver these Build-A-Bear creatures to youths in Eastern Kentucky. They were made by, from left, Emma Shabala, Jaime Carter, Hannah Shabala and Alyssa LaMartina, students from SS. Peter and Paul, during a recent birthday party. This will be Mehnert's 11th trip to a school in rural Kentucky, and she will deliver a van full of necessities for the children. Andrew LaMartina and Cassandra Bell also took part and are not photographed.
