Laura Friedman and Michael Over

Catherine and Thomas Friedman of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Friedman, to Michael Over, son of Nancy and Robert Over of Lancaster.

Miss Friedman graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 2004. She will be graduating from the University at Buffalo in 2008, receiving a degree in nursing.

Her fiance graduated from St. Mary's High School in 2004. He is attending Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, and will be graduating in 2008, receiving a degree in mathematics. He works for General Dynamics.

An October 2008 wedding is planned at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Williamsville.
