Greg Galardo and Emily Monheim

Julie and Don Monheim of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Monheim, to Greg Galardo, son of Dolores and Guy Galardo of Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Miss Galardo graduated from Lancaster High School in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in childhood and special education from Canisius College in 2006 and is pursuing a master's degree in differentiated instruction at Canisius College. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Harris Hill Elementary School in Clarence.

Her fiance graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 2001. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Canisius College in 2005 and received his certified public accountant license in New York. He is an auditor for Ernst & Young.

A July 2008 wedding is planned.
