Gilman Ciocia sets tax planning workshop schedule

Gilman Ciocia Inc., a provider of federal, state and local tax planning and preparation services, has set its schedule of complimentary workshops taking place in Williamsville in May.

Workshops are designed to educate individuals about the importance of tax planning, not only in April but throughout the entire year. Session facilitators explain seven strategies that may reduce current income taxes, possibly recover back taxes, protect personal assets and achieve financial security.

Attendees receive a free lunch or dinner during the presentation. There is no obligation or purchase necessary to attend the workshops.

"The rapidly changing world in which we live makes it extremely important for all individuals to pay attention to their money now more than ever," said Michael Ryan, president and chief executive officer of Gilman Ciocia Inc. "Our goal is to educate taxpayers that the minute they start thinking about income taxes as an expense, rather than just a fact of life, is the moment they will change their thinking about how they approach their taxes."

He added that through the workshop events, individuals receive tools to help keep more of their money, to pay less in taxes, and to demonstrate proven strategies for maintaining and increasing personal wealth.

Workshops will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 8, and 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Eagle House Restaurant, 5578 Main St., Williamsville.
