SILVER - Amber Walczyk won a silver medal in the Junior Ladies division of figure skating at the 2008 Empire State Games held recently in Lake Placid. The placement qualifies her for the State Games of America in Colorado Springs, Colo. in August 2009. Walczyk is a Lancaster resident and a sophomore at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart.
