Buffalo In-Line Hockey Group rolls on

Last Saturday was an example of another strong week of hockey in Buffalo In-Line Hockey Group.

Major Division

Reds 4, Crush 2

Scott Sciolino (Tonawanda) paced the second-place Reds with a hat trick. Goalie Ian Durgan was strong in net.

Blackhawks 10, Vikings 5

Adam Rainey and Josh Vaccaro were the story as both played outstanding defense in shutting down the Vikings.

Killer Pandas 16, Firestorm 4

John Lyons (Amherst), Zac Carlisle and company could not be stopped in this offensive onslaught.

Snipers 9, Mulecats 6

Evan Dressel (Amherst) had a hat trick. Dean Duprey and Jesse Van- Dyne each had two scores for the Snipes. Calvin Waley scored five times in the loss.

Junior Division

Devils 10, Penguins 6

The Devils had been struggling as of late but chose this game as the comeback. Six players scored for the Devils with Ryan Owarczyck netting three.

Knights 8, Gladiators 4

The Knights were another junior division team that has been searching for a lost groove over the past month. The boys seemed to find it in this game, led by Kevin Krawzyck's double hat trick. Nick Antoniadis scored four in a losing cause.

Maroons 14, Capitals 0

Six players scored at least once for the winners. Jonathan Meyers continued his outstanding season with a hat trick and three assists.
