Eagle Scout named

Ed Wojtkowiak
The Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Ed Wojtkowiak, 18, was held April 8, marking years of his dedication as a Scout.

A member of Boy Scout Troop 445, Wojtkowiak celebrated his achievement at the Williamsville Meeting House with fellow Scouts, Scout leaders including Scoutmaster Gil Munz, and friends and family.

Wojtkowiak earned the rank of Eagle Scout by planning, coordinating and supervising Scouts in the construction of three new rehabilitation boxes for Fox Wood Wildlife Rescue, providing a safe and secure area to administer first aid before moving wildlife into larger communal pens.

He started his Scouting career with Tiger Cub Pack 457 at Country Parkway and progressed through the ranks to attain the Arrow of Light, Cub Scouting's highest award.

He has held the positions of scribe, patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader and senior patrol leader. He was elected to represent his troop as a member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society.

Wojtkowiak attends Erie Community College, planning to graduate as a certified Daimler Chrysler auto mechanic.

He is the son of Karen and Bernie Wojtkowiak of Williamsville.
