Couple celebrate 65th anniversar y

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Engasser

Hilda and Kenneth Engasser of East Amherst will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner together.

Kenneth Engasser married the former Hilda Graf on April 26, 1943, at the Graf family home while Kenneth was on leave before heading to Germany during World War II.

Kenneth is retired from the City Court as a stationary engineer, and Hilda was a homemaker and helped on the family farm.

The couple have two children and two grandchildren.
