      Frank G. Cipolla, 87, of Amherst, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital. Mr. Cipolla was in sales for more than 30 years, working at W.T. Grant and National Shirt Shop and was in sales and the personnel manager for more than 10 years at Otto Ulbrich's until it closed.

      Joan E. Metz, 62, of Amherst, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Weinberg Campus in Getzville. She worked at West Seneca East High School until 2000. Ms. Metz is survived by sisters, Carol Furlong and Jean Orela; brother, David; and four nephews.

Lucian A. Mascellino, former Higgins Company engineer
      Lucian Anthony Mascellino, 86, of Amherst, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, after a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, Mr. Mascellino graduated from McKinley High School. He was in the Navy during WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater.
