Candidate packets due April 21

Petition packets for qualified candidates seeking election to the Williamsville Board of Education are due by 5 p.m. Monday, April 21, in the district office, 105 Casey Road.

Candidates must obtain at least 66 valid signatures, which represent 2 percent of last year's total vote count.

Three seats are up for election on the nine-member School Board, with the annual vote slated for Tuesday, May 20, at North High School, 1595 Hopkins Road. The three highest vote-getters will be elected to serve three-year terms beginning in July.

The three incumbents whose terms will expire are Francina Spoth, Ronald Shubert and Stephen Munschauer. At the February board meeting, all incumbents announced their intent to seek re-election.

For information, contact District Clerk Mitzie Serafin at 626-8092.
