OFFICERS - The Snyder Fire Department held its annual installation banquet Saturday evening at the Westwood Country Club. Firematic officers for 2008 are Paul Griebner, left, first assistant chief; Thomas Merrill, chief; and Mike Gugliuzza, second assistant chief. Past fire commissioner "Mitch" Mooney was honored for 40 years of active service and Charles Pearson, Richard Schrader, Allan Brown and Merill were granted life member status for 25 years of active service.
